Make complex billing easy with MCCR's Rules-Based Billing System (RBBS).
Since its initial deployment in 1991, MCCR’s Rules-Based Billing System RBBS has
been successfully implemented to automate many billing requirements that do not fit the traditional billing system mold.
As its title suggests, RBBS supports billing requirements based on any number of
business drivers including product sales, services rendered, usage such as utility consumption, and ad hoc invoicing.
RBBS solves your most complex and volatile billing scenarios. Based on MCCR’s proven
Rules Based architecture, RBBS puts the power of maintaining complex business rules
into the user’s hands eliminating the need for software programming when business requirements change.
RBBS includes our flexible downstream component for actually generating and
printing/electronically transmitting the invoices – the Miscellaneous Billing System (MBS).
In addition to interfacing with RBBS, MBS includes a
set of base import templates that can be customized to accept bulk feeds from other upstream systems to
batch-generate invoices. This frees your staff from duplicate entry of billing information and the risks such
efforts bring.
RBBS and MBS fully support interfaces from and into
external systems including SAP®, Oracle® and PeopleSoft® for general ledger and
accounts receivable reporting.
